In times of confusion--maybe the road is hard to see--more often than not, the kind words of an old friend or the inspiration from a new one, sheds the most necessary light on your path. Thank you, Jen and Jaclyn.
Our Bodies are Our Gardens…
“Yoga is a light which, once lit, will never dim. The better your practice, the brighter the flame.” -- B.K.S. Iyengar
Rachel Pinkstone-Marx is a Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance, Certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher through Soul Centered Creations and a Certified Mat Pilates Instructor through Balanced Body University providing yoga and pilates classes, workshops, and private/semi-private yoga sessions.
The philosophy that Rachel has come to cherish--the mantra that pushes her deeper into her practice with each and every day is this:
--Yoga is simply a set of tools we use to learn about ourselves. So take the time to get and get to know...yourself.--
Rachel finds her inspiration from teachers, gurus and wonderful people all over the world, but she finds her greatest reverence for yoga growing each day with the help of her friends, family and
most importantly....her students.
“Take your risks now, as you grow older you become more fearful and less flexible. And I mean that literally. I hurt my knee this week on the treadmill, and it wasn’t even on.” -- Amy Poehler
